Founded in 1993, Custom Gate & Access has high-end expertise in creating the finest quality designs and gates for homes and businesses. All of our wooden arbors and gates are fabricated from the finest materials available. Most of our gates are fabricated using kiln-dried vertical grain Western Red Cedar. We also use a variety of other woods, including Redwood, Mahogany and Fir.

We offer our wood fences and gates in either paint or stain grade. All of our gates are designed and manufactured to withstand a range of outdoor conditions, from heat and high humidity to snow and ice. Our paint grade garden gates and driveway gates incorporate composite materials for added durability. Custom Gate & Access offers two different lines of gates for the discriminating customer: Custom and Craft.

Our Custom line gates are a minimum of 2¾" thick (both garden and driveway). Typically gates over 4’ wide feature an interior steel frame that lends strength and durability to their structure. The steel frame is concealed within the gate and is not visible allowing the gate to look the same from the front and back. Each gate is individually designed with particular attention to creating an impressive entry. We use only the finest materials available and offer our Custom line in both stain and paint grade. Depending on your tastes and needs, Custom gates can be selected from our gallery or can be individually designed to compliment individual architectural settings and landscaping. We can work with your plans, drawings, pictures or specifications.

Our Craft line of gates offers an economical option. Craft gates are 1¾" thick and will accept most standard door hardware. Gates over 4’ wide have the option of having a steel frame which can be mounted to the back of the gate. The Craft gates are made from the same high quality wood materials as the Custom gates but manufactured to fit most budgets.
