All our Custom gates over 4' in width have an internal steel frame.  This steel frame gives our gates superior structural integrity while at the same time allows for a multitude of hinging options.  Furthermore, this steel frame allows our gates to look the same from the front and back; Other manufacturers mount a steel frame to the back of their wood gate producing a gate that looks good from the front but institutional from the back.  Through a unique process our steel frame never comes in contact with the wood.  This allows for natural expansion and contraction between the steel and wood, minimizing movement in the wood which causes cracking.
